
Well, I had no luck this month in finding a true pre-war classic eight. As I have said many times before, this type of apartment is rare and extremely coveted. I did, however, discover an apartment with the layout of a class eight in a post-war building. The building known as 20 East 68th Street was built in 1957 and has a more modern feel with less classic elements such as distinctive moldings and large floor-to-ceiling windows. This apartment is on a lower floor with a moderate view. On the plus side for this apartment, it is close to Central Park and has 2,300 square feet of spacious living.
The price tag on this is a doozy at 4.3 million and a monthly maintenance fee of $5,534! You need an enormous trust fund to afford this one. Check out the listing below.
